I give Yuma Desert Contractors a very high recommendation for their invasive species clearing work performed for us at our habitat restoration area along the Lower Colorado River in Yuma, Arizona, From 2017-2020, the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area has contracted with Yuma Desert Contractors, LLC on three different projects to remove invasive species and dead plant material with both mechanical and hand clearing methods and to chip and spread slash within the Yuma East Wetlands project area.

Yuma Desert Contractors, LLC has been a tremendous asset to the success of these restoration projects and has shown professionalism, in  their work by continually meeting performance schedules, providing quality deliverables, and effectively leveraging their talents and resources for cost control. Because of this professionalism, no problems were encountered in the implementation of their contracts, nor have corrective actions be required. Yuma Desert Contracting, LLC has been responsible for managing their projects and has rarely, if ever, gone over budget. If contract amounts were modified, it was due to extenuating circumstances outside of their control, and they have worked cooperatively with us to come up with cost effective solutions.
